Beware of CYBERA impersonation scams

Scammers are abusing our strong reputation in victim support and asset recovery to perpetrate scams by pretending to reach out to support poetntial victims.

CYBERA works exclusively with public and private sector organizations. If someone contacts you claiming to be from CYBERA without such a referral, it is a scam.

Recruitment - Stay safe from impersonation

Our team will never send unsolicited job offers via SMS, WhatsApp, Telegram, or similar channels. We only contact candidates via our official @cybera.io email domain or verified LinkedIn profiles.

Scammers may use fake domains or impersonate real CYBERA team members. If you’re unsure about a message you’ve received, please contact mail@cybera.io for verification.

If you have been targeted by a scam

If you’ve been scammed—whether by someone impersonating CYBERA or otherwise—report it immediately to your local law enforcement and the bank or crypto exchange used to transfer funds. Request their help in recalling the transaction.

You can also ask their support team if they partner with CYBERA. If they do, they may be able to refer you to us for support. Without such a referral, CYBERA unfortunately cannot assist individuals directly.

In the U.S., scam reporting resources include the FBI and the FTC’s fraud center.
